Contained within her scrapbook are cards and letters from friends and family, newspaper clippings, class schedules, a tourist brochure for the Beautiful Caverns of Luray No. 20, and various student documents. Of particular interest is the “Freshman Training Examination” that Alice included, a quiz that tested students on their knowledge of school rules and protocol. Originally from Cheriton, Virginia, during her time here Kellam was a member of the Alpha Literary Society, the Choral Club, the Racquet Tennis Club, the Athletic Association, and the YWCA.
