              <text>This postcard depicts a view of Spotswood, Sheldon, and Alumnae Halls on the State Teacher’s College campus taken sometime between 1924 and 1927, the time of Sheldon Hall’s first renovation. Both Spotswood and Sheldon were dormitories during this time, as Spotswood--originally termed “Dormitory No. 3,”--remains today. With the construction of Sheldon, all students attending the college had the opportunity to live on campus. Sheldon Hall has since been converted to offices, but was used as a residence into the 1970s.</text>
